Basing Material

This is what I primarily use for decorating my bases. In the first pick there is woodland scenic Flock and fine ballast. The green flock works great as grass. When I use green flock I paint on white glue with a brush I don't care for much and then I put on the flock pressing it down good and well for hard to reach areas between legs under cloaks and so on I use the end of a brush to pres the flock down into the glue. If I see white glue come up then I will add more flock.

The super fine ballast works great as ground, I glue it on the same way I do flock and then when dry I paint it brown different shades depending on what feel I want. I also glue on small clumps of flock as grass to ad some interest. There are coarser ballast if you want a more rocky ground. Oregano and some other spices are super to create a litter of leaves on the base for a more woodland type of base. There are also dried flowers you can find at hobby lobby and Wallmart that works great as flowers on the base Caspia is one I use allot it is very cheap $2-3 will last for a long time.
